Ms.Ts.Amartugs, the Chairperson of the Ethics Committee, provided detailed information to the heads of departments and divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and members of the Ethics Subcommittee on the implementation of the laws and regulations on civil service ethics and future measures, and exchanged views.
In connection with the approval of the “Content of Ethics Training for Civil Servants” by Resolution No. 15 of 2024 of the Ethics Committee, a pilot training course was organized on February 17, 2025, in the training hall of the Bank of Mongolia, to develop and introduce the content, program, and manual for the training course for ethics trainers, in cooperation with the professors and researchers who provide training in the field of ethics.
Ms. Ts.Amartugs, Chairperson of the Ethics Committee, presented about legal status and engagement at the advisory meeting for managers and directors of the State Audit Office of Mongolia.
Ms. Ts.Amartugs, the Chairperson of the Ethics Committee, held a courtesy meeting with Mr.Helmut Kulitz, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany to Mongolia.
The Ethics Committee, in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, organized a training on the topic of “State & Diplomatic Protocol and Etiquette” for all employees of the Civil Service Council and the Ethics Committee.
A delegation led by B.Purevdagva, a member of the Ethics Committee of Mongolia and the Civil Service Council, met with Ms. Zerrin Güngör, the Chairwoman of the Council of Ethics for Public Servants of Turkiye.
Training was held on topics "Standards reflected in the Law on ethics of the civil servants and obligation and rights of the Ethics Sub-Committee" and “Human resource policy-selection for core civil service positions" on October 3, 2024 and presented by Mr. D. Baatarsaikhan, a Member of the Civil Service Council and the Ethics Committee among the employees of the Institute of Strategic Study.
The regular meeting No.11 of the Ethics Committee was held on 20 September, 2024. At the meeting, draft procedure on "Handling Complaints and Information on Ethical Violations of Civil Servants" and the draft of the "Standard Model of Conclusions of the Ethics Committee and Sub-Committee on the Review and Decision of Complaints and Information".
In terms of adjournment of the Parliament regular session, Mr. D.Amarbayasgalan, Chairman of the State Great Khural visited relevant organizations for the review of their function process.
By Resolution No. 205 of 2024 of the Government of Mongolia, July 3rd of each year has been designated as "Civil Service Day." To mark this commemorative day, the Civil Service Council of Mongolia and the Ethics Committee organized a meeting with the ambassadors residing in Mongolia and representatives of international organizations based in Mongolia.
