THE REGIONAL FORUM OF THE GOBI ZONE ON "REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT - LEADERSHIP IN THE CIVIL SERVICE" SUCCESSFULLY ORGANIZED

    The Gobi Regional Forum on “Regional Development-Leadership in the Civil Service” was held in Dalanzadgad, Umnugovi province, on April 21 and 22, 2025. More than 600 civil servants, representing a total of 14,459 civil servants working in 499 organizations in Umnugovi, Dundgovi, Dornogovi, and Govisumber provinces, participated in the conference and discussed common issues.

        On the first day of the regional forum (2025.04.21), discussions and trainings were organized on the topics of the application of civil service legislation, the application of civil servant ethics legislation, and the application of labor legislation, and Ms. Ts.Amartugs, the Chairperson of the Ethics Committee,  Doctor (Ph.D) Ms. Ch.Erdenechimeg, Member of the Ethics Committee, and Mr. N.Ganbaatar, Head of the Ethics Committee Office, participated as facilitators and speakers.

       The second day of the regional forum (2025.04.22) continued with presentations and discussions focused on civil service reform, and participants' suggestions were heard on how to improve the legislation in the future. In addition to members of the Civil Service Council and the Ethics Committee, heads of departments and units, Mr. B.Bayarbaatar, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Standing Committee on Ethics  and  Parliamentary Procedures of the State Great Khural, gave a presentation and served as a panelist in the discussion "Ethical Issues of Civil Servants and Implementation of Legislation".

      The regional forum was initiated by the Civil Service Council of Mongolia and jointly organized by the relevant standing committees of the Parliament, the Ethics Committee, the Umnugovi province Civil Service Commission, and civil service branch councils.
