ETHICS TRAINING FOR SENIOR OFFICIALS OF THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

     Ms. Ts.Amartugs, the Chairperson of the Ethics Committee, provided detailed information to the heads of departments and divisions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and members of the Ethics Subcommittee on the implementation of the laws and regulations on civil service ethics and future measures, and exchanged views. 

     At the training, L.Munkhtushig, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, held opening speech raised about their annual plan in the field of ethics and the policy of reforming the laws and regulations on the diplomatic service. He also expressed his willingness to cooperate with the Ethics Committee to improve the ethics and awareness among the employees and improve organization culture.  

    The training covered/addressed important issues such as developing ethical leadership among the civil servants and managers, protecting the dignity of civil servants, respecting justice and transparency, working responsibly, and increasing the trust of citizens. 

     Chairperson of the Ethics Committee Ms. Ts.Amartugs emphasized, “Diplomatic relations is the state key policy of the history of Mongolia. Therefore, it is crucial for all diplomats to strictly adhere ethics standards for civil servants, in particular standards for diplomatic personnel.”
